In Cricket Tasmania Premier League, our SHSB Women's 2nd Grade had to give best to Clarence at home on Saturday.
Clarence batted first and made 155/2 from 20 overs. Bree McDonald was the top scorer for the visitors with 48. Katie Cole was not out on 40 for our opponents.
Chasing 156, we reached 110/3 from 20 overs. Sarah Breckweg made a terrific 57 not out off 64 balls, a well-made fifty.
Plenty to take out of this one. It's been a tough run, and we'll be working hard to turn it around.
Thanks to the visitors for the contest.
