In Cricket Tasmania Premier League action, our SHSB Men's 1st Grade were unable to stop Glenorchy on Saturday.
We posted 294, while Glenorchy made 297/5. A classy 84 off 113 balls from William Prestwidge was the highlight. Thomas willoughby's 56 off 150 balls was a half-century to remember. Harry Thomson was unbeaten on 48 off 129 balls. Credit to Brandon Kopper, who took four for 58 for our opponents.
Caedence Kuepper returned figures of two for 96 off 20.1 overs. Vishwa Deemantha posted 83 for the hosts, a quality fifty.
Plenty to take out of this one. It's seven defeats on the trot, and the boys will be eager to bounce back. Back to the nets, and on to the next one.
