At Kingston Twin Ovals, our SHSB Men's 2nd Grade fell to Kingborough with lessons to take away.
Over the course of the match we totalled 101/9 and 92/9, and Kingborough 292/10. Darcy Andrikonis's 51 off 98 balls was a half-century to remember. Harry Jones was still there at the end on 24 off 59 balls. Mitchell Backhouse took a five-wicket haul for the hosts, finishing with five for 10.
Jones starred with the ball, taking four for 57. Fifty for Aidan Bulger, who made 73 for our opponents.
The results haven't gone our way lately, but the boys will keep at it.
Credit to the hosts, and well played.
