Our SHSB Men's 1st Grade were in fine form and dominated GN Raiders on Saturday, winning by eight wickets.
Batting first, GN Raiders posted 152/6 from 20 overs. Cooper Anthes passed fifty for our opponents, finishing with 69. There were 30 from Samuel Omahony for the hosts. Archie Banks-Smith grabbed two for 29.
In reply, the side reached the target at 153/2 in 17.1 overs. Caedence Kuepper brought up a stylish half-century, finishing with 64 off 46 balls. Harry Nichols added a useful 42 off 18 balls.
With wickets in hand, the chase was well managed.
A superb response after our opponents had the better of us in our last meeting. The first win of the season is in the bank. Great work, everyone.
