It was a disappointing outing for our SHSB Women's 2nd Grade, who were bested by New Town in a tough outing.
We batted first and finished with 38/5 on the board from 20 overs. Audrey Farrelly was the pick of New Town's bowlers with three for 4.
The hosts knocked off the runs, finishing on 39/4 in 6.3 overs. Lillian Harris bowled cleverly to finish with three for 21.
There are plenty of positives to take out of this one. We will be looking to get back in the winning column soon.
We'll go again.
