Saturday didn't go our way, as our SHSB Women's 2nd Grade were well beaten by New Town by 122 runs.
New Town batted first and reached 188/0 from 20 overs. The visitors' best was a half-century from Elsa Grant, who made 67. Makenzie Giffard passed fifty for our opponents, finishing with 50.
Our chase ended at 66/8 from 20 overs. Scarlett Henderson claimed three for 9 for the visitors.
We'll take the lessons from this one and go again. The results haven't gone our way lately, but the side will keep at it.
Back to the nets, and on to the next one.
