It was a great day for our SHSB Men's 3rd Grade, who emerged victorious against Lindisfarne at Queenborough Sportsground - Oval #1.
In terms of totals, it was SHSB Men's 3rd Grade 172/9 and Lindisfarne 171. Harry Jones made a valuable 40 off 41 balls. Solid support came from Oliver Brancher, who made 37. Credit to Imtiaz Ahmed SYED, who took three for 37 for the visitors.
Blake Johannesen was the pick of the bowlers, taking four for 30 off 15.1 overs. Jack Hutchinson posted 75 for our opponents, a quality fifty.
Our bowlers led the way on the day. It was a good way to turn the tables on the visitors, who beat us last time we met.
A great effort from the team.
