It was a day to regroup for our SHSB Men's 3rd Grade, who came off second best against Kingborough in a disappointing result.
Kingborough made 306/4, and we made 48/10 and 74/7. Luke Grubb was the pick of our batters with 27 off 75 balls. Credit to Nicholas Shelverton, who took three for 7 for the visitors.
Jack Baldwin picked up two for 79 off thirteen overs. Blair Harrison posted a brilliant hundred for our opponents, finishing on 112. Charles Morgan made a good 105 for the visitors, a century worth applauding.
Not our day, but there's plenty to work with. That's two losses in a row, but the team will keep working hard.
Plenty to work on, and plenty to like.
