It was a tough day out for our SHSB Men's 2nd Grade, who were beaten by Lindisfarne on Saturday in Cricket Tasmania Premier League.
Across the match we made 77/10 and 88/2, with Lindisfarne on 268/9. Jake Garland's 60 not out off 44 balls was a half-century to remember. Jack Baldwin made 22 off 57 balls. Bailey Robinson did the damage for our opponents with three for 21. The hosts also got three for 27 from Aiden Jackson.
James Turnbull was the hero with the ball, claiming a six-wicket haul (six for 96). Jackson Grubb made a stylish 74 for our opponents, a well-deserved half-century.
Plenty to take out of this one.
A tough stretch, and one the boys will be determined to end. Chins up, everyone.
