On Saturday, our SHSB Men's 2nd Grade were undone by Clarence in one to put behind us.
Clarence's innings ended at 188/10 and 100/2, ours at 102/10 and 185/10. Jake Garland's 52 off 53 balls was a half-century to remember. Lochlan Craig was the best of our opponents' bowlers, finishing with four for 57.
Edward Gulline picked up four for 52 off thirteen overs. James Turnbull weighed in with three for 45 off 8.2 overs. Thomas Murrell posted a cracking hundred for the hosts, finishing on 102.
It's two defeats on the trot, and the boys will be eager to bounce back.
Credit to our opponents, and well played.
