Our SHSB Men's 1st Grade came unstuck as they were second best against University of Tasmania on a frustrating day.
University of Tasmania set us 215 to win, finishing on 214/4 from 20 overs. Jake Doran made a stylish 68 for our opponents, a well-deserved half-century.
Needing 215 to win, we finished on 159/9 from 20 overs. Samuel Voss top-scored, making 37 off 27 balls. Cohen Ratcliffe contributed 28 off 17 balls. For the visitors, Khushwinder Singh took three for 33 off four overs.
There are plenty of positives to take out of this one. Plenty to work on, and plenty to like.
