It was one to learn from for our SHSB Men's 1st Grade, who were bettered by Clarence on a day that didn't go our way.
First up, we made 207/7 from 50 overs. Harry Nichols posted a half-century, making 69 off 73 balls with six fours and one six. Cooper Stubbs provided good support with 26. Blake Garrett returned three for 38 for Clarence.
Our opponents knocked off the runs, finishing on 208/3 in 47.1 overs. Justin Galeotti passed fifty for the hosts, finishing with 91 not out.
Thanks to our opponents for the contest.
